Therapeutic Approach

Dr. Eromo is passionate about relationships. Whether it be relationships between partners or spouses, parents and children, or even one’s relationship with self, Dr. Eromo can help identify repetitive patterns and communication struggles, transforming how clients manage emotions and creating more balanced, fulfilling connections.

Rooted in her knowledge of attachment science and relational systems, Dr. Eromo strives to help clients create more secure and satisfying bonds with significant others in their lives, as well as more individual emotional awareness and resilience. She aims to create an affirmative, collaborative space, where clients’ experiences can be heard with acceptance and compassion.

Clients working with Dr. Eromo learn how to identify and express their emotions in healthy, productive ways. This is especially important in relationships, where miscommunication or avoidance of emotions can lead to conflict or distance.

Dr. Eromo works with couples, parents, and individuals. She takes an integrative, tailored approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Training

Dr. Eromo has clinical training and experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health, medical centers (Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles), and a nonprofit organization. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in 2013.

With a passion for education and training, Dr. Eromo has extensive experience teaching, providing clinical supervision, and conducting psychological assessments (neuropsychological and psycho-diagnostic).
